Vitamin E (DL-alpha-Tocopheryl acetate)
DL-alpha-Tocopheryl acetate, a stable form of Vitamin E, provides critical antioxidant protection, neutralizing free radicals and supporting the skin's moisture barrier. It promotes healing, reduces signs of aging, and maintains smooth, resilient skin.

Directions

Bath: Add a few drops of oil to a bathtub filled with warm water. Soak for 15-20 minutes.

Massage: Apply a small amount of oil on the palm of your hands. Massage as usual.

Body: Fabulous to keep the skin soft and moisturized all day long. Body oils are best applied on fully wet skin or after a shower. Massage oil for a few minutes. Pat dry to remove excess oil and leftover water. Can be applied on dry skin for a natural glow.

Hair: To revitalize hair and scalp, and combat frizzy hair. As a wash-off conditioner apply a small amount of oil on dry hair before shampooing and leave on for 15-30 minutes. Shampoo as usual. As a leave-on conditioner, rub a few drops of oil on dry or wet hair where needed, a little goes a long way. Brush hair to evenly combine. Style or blow-dry as usual.

F.A.Q.

How would this body oil replace my body lotion?

It wouldn't as body oils are formulated differently, but it's a great addition to any body routine. Body oils work my softening and sealing moisture in preventing dehydration.

Is this body oil photo-toxic?

Phototoxicity is a problem with several citrus essential oils when they're extracted by cold-pressing the plant material. Essential oils extracted by steam distillation do not present any phototoxicity when exposed to UV light.

Citrus Joy contains mostly steam distilled essential oils, and some cold-pressed essential oils below recommended levels of concern.

This all-over-oil can be safely applied as a moisturizer in substitution of or to complement a body lotion. However this product should not be used as a tanning oil.

Would this oil help with hair growth?

Yes. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that stimulates collagen production in the scalp. Collagen is a structural protein that strengthens hair follicles and improves hair thickness.
